The Questions

What gives racecars motion to accelerate?

There are different size motors. A nascar can get up to about 200 miles per hour. You can put in and put out different gears to make it accelerate more. After getting enough speed, if you hit the clutch and take your foot off the gas you will drift around corners which actually makes you go faster. There are fans in the motor to cool it off incase it gets too hot. When tire's start to get bald, the driver must stop in the pit to get new ones put back on. The tires are an important part of the car, its what causes the car to move with the speed it does.
